Chair Obsession

I am obsessed with these chairs that our BFF Lindsay just recovered for her apartment in New York! I love the combination of the grey and the coral, so unexpected. The stripe is so fun on the back. Lindsay was one of the first people I knew to get a Saarinen tulip table years ago. Her West Village apartment is super cool - She is really great at mixing old and new(er). Now i just need to get her to send us pics of her grey and yellow nursery.

Happy Birthday to my little Pirate

My baby just turned 5 last week! We celebrated with a bunch of swash buckling pirates at his Pirate themed Birthday party. It was so fun going over board with the theme (huh huh). We sent out pirate maps as invitations in bottles and then had a big treasure hunt. I think the party was a hit for the kiddos. Happy Birthday Parker!

24 Hours in the ATL

I spent a quick 24 hours in Atlanta this week. I met up with my cousin Sarah and we spent one day at ADAC and then the next at Scotts. It was a wonderful 24 hours to say the least. Here are some of the visual highlights from our trip.

Going on a Chair Hunt

I am headed to Scotts this week and am hoping to invest in some new dining room chairs. I am going to look for a set of Louis XVI chairs to upholster. Do i go bright and colorful or keep it chill? Do I want Louis XVI or some other design? What would you do?

West Village Cool

I was looking through an old Elle Decor last night and stumbled on the townhouse shared by Nanette Lepore and her husband/business partner Robert Savage in the West Village. Kinda fun and crazy...I likey. Definitely need more color in my life.

Amy Liz : Part I

Happy New Year! We just got back from a massive trip to visit our people in Tennessee. I cant wait to share all the fun things about our trip - letting the kiddos run around on the farm, sitting and chatting for hours with Kayce Hughes, Junking with cousin Sarah, Talking Star Wars with cousin Anne.... and much more. One of the big highlights was getting to visit with my college roomate and BFF Amy Liz. In a twist of fate she bought the house that all of my Nashville cousins grew up in! It is so fun being back in the house that holds so many memories for all of us. Amy Liz has totally made the house her own and her two girls are going to fill the house with even more wonderful memories. I have to share with you images of the house becuase Amy Liz has incredible taste. She is from New Orleans so there is an eclectic french flair you can see. She also is extremely creative and I love the way she can mix pieces from different periods. I am begging her for more photos so stay tuned for Part II!
