Atlanta: We love it!

I am slowly recovering from a long weekend in Atlanta. Our time there was packed with loads of shopping, massive amounts of laughter and lots of late night dancing. It was great to be back in the city we love so much. We hit up some of our old favorite haunts as well as some new (to us) spots. Here are the highlights:

First Stop: Drinks in the Highlands followed by Yacht Rock at the Dark Horse Tavern.

This was a brand new spot for us. It was awesome. Kinda like the Sleepy Poet in Charlotte. I cannot believe the whole time I lived in Atlanta I never knew about this place. The space is 25,000 sq feet with over 100 booths, packed with great vintage and fun finds. It is located in Decatur and totally worth the trip. Bryce bought this super funky chair. I bought barware, books, a crazy portrait and a vintage belt.

Dinner and Drinks at Bistro Niko, followed by Johnnys Hideaway
You know it is a good sign when you wish you could have the same meal 2 nights in a row. Everyone is going to be embarrassed when i announce that the meal was a Croque Monsieur. Even though I am well known for ordering off the childrens menu- this sammy was no joke. I could eat it every night for a week. The restaurant is in Buckhead and is relatively new. It was the perfect spot for our crowd. Great atmosphere and great french food. And they put up with our loud and disorderly crew (who later triumphed in an old school dance-off at Johnnys Hideaway).

The Stalls
It is so fun to shop antiques in Atlanta - High and Low. I love checking out The Stalls on Bennett street to get inspiration. There are always so many beautiful things. I fell in love with the following:

After a big lunch at Houstons we were all dragging a bit. Bryce decided to give this bad boy a test run.

Estate Sale
Last but not least we did a spontaneous turn into an Estate Sale off of West Paces Ferry. Usually hitting these things late in the afternoon does not bring good results. However we found some treasures! I wish i had more photos to show.

Other hot spots we hit while in town- Bungalow on Howell Mill, B.D Jeffries and Erica Reid on Roswell, Barneys Co-Op at Phipps Plaza, and Juan's Garage on Howell Mill.

Atlanta friends we love and miss you!
